Our analysis of the relationship between target genes and well-known cancer-related pathways showed that NOTCH4, NOTCH2, NOTCH3, DLL4, DLL1, and JAG1 can either stimulate or inhibit critical cancer-related pathways, e.g., EMT, DNA damage response, cell cycle, apoptosis pathways, TSC/mTOR, RAS/MAPK, and PI3K/AKT (Figure 8F). This evidence concerns the gene NOTCH2 and cancer.
