CD5 and enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma: Enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma (EATL) is a distinct entity of primary intestinal T-cell lymphoma with aggressive progression, displaying pleomorphic intermediate to large-sized cells with round or angulated vesicular nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and moderate to abundant pale-staining cytoplasm in most cases [61,62], with intraepithelial and transmural infiltration of atypical lymphocytes, which are usually CD4− and CD5−, express cytotoxic granule-associated proteins, and have a high mitotic rate and proliferation index.
