Table 2 describes the biochemical and clinical profile of individuals. The mean total cholesterol level was 205.0 (42.6) mg/dL. The mean CRP was 2.8 (1.2–6.0 mg/L). Dyslipidemia (53.9%) and hypertension (57.0%) were highly prevalent. When individuals were compared by sex, women showed higher total cholesterol, LDL-c, and CRP than men, while HDL-c and Apo A-I were higher (Table S2).
