CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Recent advancements in immunotherapy, focused on immune checkpoint blockers (ICBs), specifically programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitors in different histologic features, have opened up new horizons and remarkably improved the clinical outcomes of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [3,4,5].
