NFKB1 and cancer: A study by Habib et al. [14] demonstrates anti-inflammatory actions of ginger extract (ethanol extraction, unspecified drug extract ratio) in in vivo cancer models: immunohistochemistry staining of cervix cancer tissue sections of rats that were subjected to a choline-deficient diet revealed that the distribution of NFκB was much lower in ginger extract-treated (100 mg/kg; oral) animals compared to the control groups.
