Many kinds of genetic diseases arise from DNA duplication such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy [39], Pelizaeus–Merzbacher disease [40], Charcot–Marie–Tooth [41], ataxia-telangiectasia [42], Alport syndrome [43] and MECP2 duplication syndrome [44]. This evidence concerns the gene MECP2 and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
