Our group patented the nucleolin antagonist N6L, which shows antitumor activities in breast cancer [5], prostate cancer [6], leukemia [7], non-small cell lung carcinoma [8], brain tumors [9,10], and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [2,11], and furthermore can be coupled to nanoparticles [11,12,13] or toxins [10]. The gene discussed is NUCLEOLIN; the disease is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
