FOXA1 negatively regulates the transcription of TGFB3 and prevents its translocation into the nucleus, due to which down-regulated FOXA1 promotes the transcription of TGFB3 and then activates the TGF-β signal pathway, which leads to the G1/S transition and inhibition of apoptosis and, consequently, induces the radio resistance of tumor cells. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and neoplasm.
