The results revealed that mRNA (YAP1, FOXA2, AMOTL2, TEAD2, SMAD4 and NF2)—miRNA (mir-650 and miR-1205)—lncRNA (RPARP-AS1 and SRD5A3-AS1) networks were differentially expressed in NAFLD and strongly associated with disease pathogenesis. The gene discussed is AMOTL2; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
