Han et al. [44] showed that liver-specific deletion of AMOTL2 in mice resulted in an increase in mouse liver size and activation of YAP. All these data can illustrate our findings, where AMOTL2 and NF2 were significantly downregulated in both the NASH and SS groups, compared to the NC group. Here, NF2 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
