A more complicated relationship presents in EGFR-MET crosstalk in non-small cell lung carcinoma cells of varying metastatic potential and EGFR modulates MET at multiple levels to enhance cellular migration and invasion, as demonstrated by our findings of a new tumor-specific crosstalk for the LCN2′s anti-metastatic action by attenuating MET through the MEK–ERK pathway in human osteosarcoma cells. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is neoplasm.
