MMP9 and breast cancer: Identical findings were reported recently in LPS-stimulated MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, in which the treatment either with dieckol or phlorofucofuroeckol A (at 50 and 20 μM, respectively) significantly inhibited the cell migration and invasion via suppression of TLR-4/NF-κB-mediated expression of MMP-9 [129].
