In this manuscript, we demonstrate, that (i), while miR-208a is not altered in mouse cubs with heart hypertrophy, Myh6, the host gene of miR-208a, is reduced in these animals and (ii) that, while the miR-208b content in hearts from isoprenaline-treated animals is comparable to the untreated controls, the myh7 amount, the host gene miR-208b, is reduced. This evidence concerns the gene MYH6 and cardiac hypertrophy.
