This study has some limitations, most of them because the data obtained were collected retrospectively, which implies potential inclusion biases and the difficulty to obtain the information of some variables: Epstein–Barr virus infection; associated gastritis; HER-2 or PDL1 status; and, as mentioned previously, germline testing, which was only evaluated in 16/44 (36%) of patients who met clinical criteria for genetic testing, and CTNNA1 was not performed. This evidence concerns the gene CTNNA1 and gastritis.
