BRAF and melanoma: In March 2017, single-agent BRAF inhibitor vemurafenib (Roche, Basel, Switzerland) was the first targeted therapy approved for treating advanced melanoma patients with BRAF V600 mutation by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China and was included into the National Reimbursement Drug List (NRDL) after the price negotiation by the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) in 2017.
