FASN and colorectal carcinoma: Luteolin (3,4,5,7-tetrahydroxyflavone), a potent FASN inhibitor found in vegetables, fruits and medicinal herbs, was thought to exert its anti-cancer activity in CRC by the modulation of various tumor signal pathways, including the IGF-1, Keap1-Nrf2-ARE and Wnt-β-catenin pathways [276].
