Recent studies of transgenic mice models of Alzheimer’s disease showed that neurotropin could alleviate oxidative stress, reduce neuroinflammation, and improve cognitive deficits possibly via the BDNF/NF-κB pathway [17,38,39], which may, in part, support a possible mechanism induced by the post-SAH cognitive decline. Here, NFKB1 is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
