A handful of studies have examined DNA methylation in depth in pediatric AML in general [16,17] as well as within MLL/KMT2A-rearranged [18], inv(16)/CBFB-MYH11 [19], and t(8;21)/RUNX1-RUNX1T1 [20,21] subtypes. This evidence concerns the gene CBFB and acute myeloid leukemia.
