PRMT5 and lung carcinoma: Figure 1A shows the survival analysis plot for both lung cancer subtypes. Bioinformatics analyses were performed to determine the major pathways associated with PRMT5 and to highlight the overall role of PRMT5 in the pathogenesis of lung adenocarcinoma. The differentially expressed genes between PRMT5-silenced and control A549 lung cancer cells were entered into the WebGestalt tool to determine the major PRMT5-associated pathways under the functional database of Wikipathway cancer. Figure 1B shows the top pathways linked to both the upregulated and downregulated genes.
