To investigate the functional impact of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) on the expression of miR-938G>A, miR-604A>G, and miR-1302-3C>T, we constructed pri-miR-938, pri-miR-604, and pri-miR-1302-3 expression plasmids under the control of the CMV promoter with either the major or minor allele, and transfected the plasmids into a human endometrial cell line (Ishikawa, SNU-539), a human granulosa-like tumor cell line (KGN), a cancer cell line (Caco-2), and a gonadotropic pituitary cell line (GT1-7 for GnRHR). This evidence concerns the gene GNRHR and neoplasm.
