Published evidence and data retrieved from the Allen Brain Atlas (www.portal.brain-map.org/ (accessed on 22 April 2021)) and GTEx Portal (www.gtexportal.org (accessed on 22 April 2021)) clearly show high expression of TRESK channels in human brain regions, for some of which the impairment has been associated with autism and ID [30].
