Considering the critical role of the IL-37 in the inflammatory process and its role in CAD and hepatic injury, the present study aimed to evaluate the association of the IL-37 polymorphisms with premature coronary artery disease (pCAD), cardiovascular risk factors, metabolic parameters, and levels of liver enzymes in a cohort of patients well-characterized from the demographic, anthropometric, clinical, and biochemical point of view. This evidence concerns the gene IL37 and coronary artery disorder.
