The progression of arthritis disease is regulated by several microRNAs (miRNAs), including miR-92a, miR-129-3p, miR-141-3p and miR-199a-5p [9–12], while the proinflammatory mediators IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) account for histological changes that occur with arthritis [13–15].
