Using TCGA datasets, specifically, Bladder Urothelial Carcinoma (BLCA), Breast Invasive Carcinoma (BRCA), Colorectal Adenocarcinoma (COAD), and Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD), a highly significant positive correlation (P≤ 0.0001 in 17 cases, P≤ 0.001 in two cases, P = 0.01 in one case) was found between A3C, A3D, A3F, A3G, A3H and the mean score of the six hypoxia-induced p53-dependent genes in all these cancers (Figure 1J). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is colorectal adenocarcinoma.
