NOTCH3 and cancer: The aberrant high expression of Notch3 is common in human cancer tissues, as shown in several studies (Giovannini et al., 2009; Park et al., 2010; Zhang et al., 2011; Rahman et al., 2012; Hu et al., 2013; Ye et al., 2013; Ozawa et al., 2014; Liu et al., 2016b; Zhang et al., 2017; Tang et al., 2019; Xu et al., 2019), as well as the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Oncomine database (Figure 2).
