To further explore the molecular mechanisms by which the POSTN protein promotes the transformation of HCC cells into CD133+ LCSCs, gene sequencing was used to identify the top 50 genes whose expression was altered by the upregulation of POSTN gene expression (Fig. 3A) and the top 50 genes whose expression was altered by downregulation of POSTN gene expression (Fig. 3B) in HCC cells. The gene discussed is POSTN; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
