In the analysis of treatment upon discharge, we observed an underuse of all drugs recommended to treat ischemic cardiomyopathy; only 67.5% of patients were discharged with a prescription for angiotensin converting-enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) or angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs); 56.7%, beta-blockers; 59.2%, statins; and 60%, acetylsalicylic acid. Here, ACE is linked to ischemic cardiomyopathy.
