When anti-TNF-α agents have been studied comparatively in adults, there wasevidence of increased prevalence of ADAs against infliximab compared withadalimumab (25.3% versus 14.1% respectively), as well asbetween adalimumab and golimumab (14.1% versus 3.8%).25 A similar trend was found in a meta-analysis of biologic agents in JIA,where the pooled prevalence of ADAs against infliximab was 36.6% compared with21.8% for ADAs against adalimumab.35 As mentioned above, the prevalence of ADAs against golimumab seems to behigher in children (46.8%) but based on limited evidence.39 This evidence concerns the gene TNF and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
