The multivariable analysis indicated that higher serum peak cystatin C concentration (OR = 2.443, 95% CI 1.257, 4.746, p = 0.008) and longer interval to treatment with corticosteroids (OR = 1.183, 95% CI 1.035, 1.352, p = 0.014) were independently associated with the progression to CKD (Table 3).
