Aortic tissue RNA profiling using the mouse transcriptome array (MTA_1.0) analyzing untreated animals (normal aorta), PPE-induced AAAs (PPE), and lenvatinib-treated animals (PPE + Lenva systemic) revealed myosin heavy chain 11 (Myh11) as the most significantly deregulated transcript (Figure 1B, Figure 2E, and Supplemental Figure 4, A and B) when comparing all subgroups (downregulated in PPE vs. normal aorta; upregulated in PPE + Lenva systemic vs. PPE). This evidence concerns the gene MYH11 and achalasia-alacrima syndrome.
