CXCL1 and infection: Taken together, these findings reveal that the lack of miR‐146a/b in mice leads to increased numbers of neutrophils, DCs, and T cells in the airways with concomitantly enhanced expression of the neutrophil chemoattractant Cxcl1, as well as neutrophil markers S100a8 and S100a9 in the lung tissue during RV‐A1b infection.
