CRP and delirium: Out of several ICU admission inflammation markers (ferritin, CRP, white blood cells, lymphocytes, D-dimers, fibrinogen), higher fibrinogen levels were associated with altered cognitive state during ICU stay (7.19 [6.58–8.30] in patients with delirium vs. 6.63 [5.41–7.77] mg/dL in patients without delirium, p = 0.025; AUC ROC: 0.65 [95% CI: 0.53–0.75], p = 0.02) (Table 1).
