Interestingly, KDM5B overexpression has been associated with chemotherapy resistance in epithelial ovarian cancer (Wang et al., 2015), with the development of Glioma (Fang et al., 2016), and with the presence of a subpopulation of slow-cycling cells involved in long-term tumour maintenance in melanoma (Roesch et al., 2010). This evidence concerns the gene KDM5B and glioma.
