Numerous studies have been conducted to assess ABO blood group and its association with oral cancer, other potentially malignant disorders, and oral submucous fibrosis (Gupta et al., 2020; Mortazavi et al., 2014; Jaleel and Nagarajappa, 2012; Jalili et al., 2018; Jamil et al., 2006; Kumari et al., 2017; Oroei, 2019; Poornima et al., 2018; Shishodia et al., 2018; Singh et al., 2014; Bhateja et al., 2014). This evidence concerns the gene ABO and lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
