CD34+ selection, on the one hand, theoretically improves the results of AHSCT and, on the other hand, increases the risk of secondary autoimmunity (Atkins et al. 2016; Daikeler et al. 2011; Dubinsky et al. 2010; Handgretinger et al. 2001; Keever-Taylor et al. 2017; Oliveira et al. 2016; Ringhoffer et al. 2004).
