In clinical practice, the detection of miR-141 and miR-340, as well as the immunohistochemical detection of PTEN, can be applied to the early diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial lesions and CSCC, which would provide a basis for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of CSCC and squamous intraepithelial lesions. Here, PTEN is linked to squamous cell intraepithelial neoplasia.
