Assessing the methylation data from cBioPortal and TCGA Wanderer platforms, we found that ADHFE1 was commonly hypermethylated in these three types of cancers, and methylation level of ADHFE1 was negatively correlated with ADHFE1 mRNA expression, suggesting that DNA methylation may be a major contributor to ADHFE1 inactivation in cancer. Here, ADHFE1 is linked to cancer.
