Recently, the m6A regulators have been shown to act as an important splicing factor during GAS events (Kasowitz et al., 2018; Yoshimi et al., 2019; Geng et al., 2020), although research of the m6A regulator regulating AS events is still in the early stage in the field of cancer research, including lung cancer. This evidence concerns the gene METTL3 and lung carcinoma.
