Among them, 78 N-glycopeptides from 42 proteins were specifically identified from one of the three groups, many of which had been reported as biomarkers for T1D or T2D at protein levels, but not at N-glycosylation levels yet, including AZGP1, CLU, C2, C4, F2, KNG1, and SERPING1 proteins (Zhang et al., 2013; Das and Kamalden, 2014; Figure 5C).
