Escherichia coli infection significantly increased the expression of the inflammatory factors IL-2, IL-6, and TNF-α in the jejunum and colon (Figure 6A, p < 0.01), while MPX and Enro treatment significantly inhibited their mRNA expression in the jejunum (p < 0.01) and colon (p < 0.05); after MPX and Enro treatment, the levels were not significantly different from those in the control group (p > 0.05).
