The JADAS is a composite disease specific outcome measure that includes: 1) the physician global assessment of current disease activity, a single question with a score of 0–10 that focuses on overall disease activity from the physician perspective; 2) the patient/parent global assessment of current overall well-being; 3) the number of joints with active arthritis; and typically 4) a modified erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) or C-reactive protein (CRP); however, some versions of the JADAS do not include any laboratory measure. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and Arthritis.
