The database of the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) produced by the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (https://portals.broadinstitute.org/ccle) indicates the relative expression level of BCL2 mRNA is much higher in AML cells (3.69) than in either pancreas cancer cells (−2.06) or in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells (−1.54). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
