We were able to link hypoacetylated peaks in AD to 460 genes using NeuN+ Hi–C data and hyperacetylated peaks in AD to 676 genes using NeuN− Hi–C data (hereby referred to as NeuN+ hypo- and NeuN− hyperacetylated genes, respectively, Fig. 3c, Supplementary Data 5). The gene discussed is RBFOX3; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
