Baseline levels of the following markers were associated with clinical outcomes: MIP-1b (C-C motif chemokine ligand 4), TNF-a (tumor necrosis factor alpha), IL-8.Pro, MIP-1a, IL-13 (interleukin 13), IL-6, IL-12p70, TSLP, and IL-22 (interleukin 22) with worsened OS, D-dimer with improved OS (HR 0.27, p = 0.03)), REG3A with increased risk of chronic GVHD (OR 8.98, P = 0.045), and ST2 with decreased risk of chronic GVHD (OR 0.15, p = 0.039). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and chronic graft versus host disease.
