DUXAP9 and renal cell carcinoma: To further investigate the mechanism underlying the effects of DUXAP9 on the Akt signaling pathway in RCC, LY294002 (a PI3K inhibitor) was used to try to abrogate the effect of DUXAP9 overexpression on the Akt signaling pathway. The cancer cells were cultured with LY294002 (final concentration 20 μmol/L) for 24 h for further study.
