XBP1 and neoplasm: Interestingly they found 6 distinct neutrophil phenotypes and, concordantly with Veglia and collaborators, they found that classical PMN/neutrophils were enriched in blood and healthy lungs, while subtypes enriched or exclusive to tumor-bearing lungs depicted an increased expression of chemokine receptors, pro-angiogenic factors and ER stress related genes (XBP1, SPP1 and CSF1 were found to be shared by tumor-specific PMNs from both articles).
