Studies have shown that SNIP1 can regulate c-Myc activity through stabilizing c-Myc’s expression against the ubiquitin proteasome degradation.35 In the present study, we observed that SNIP1 positively regulates c-Myc protein expression in lung cancer cell lines (Fig. 5a) without altering the mRNA level of c-Myc (Supplementary Fig. S5a). This evidence concerns the gene SNIP1 and lung carcinoma.
