This comparison revealed 22 DEGs in ovary/fallopian tube tumors pre-chemo, encoding mainly ECM glycoproteins, ECM-affiliated proteins, and secreted factors (Supplementary Fig. 3b; resistant n = 6, sensitive n = 23), whereas post-chemotherapy the total of 32 DEGs included collagens (COL11A1, COL10A1, and COL3A1) and chemokines, mostly upregulated, in patients with resistant disease (Supplementary Fig. 3c; resistant n = 5, sensitive n = 8). This evidence concerns the gene COL10A1 and fallopian tube neoplasm.
