Over the past few years, numerous new agents have been added to the treatment arsenal of AML, including venetoclax combined with HMA or subcutaneous cytarabine, IDH1, IDH2, and FLT3 inhibitors, liposomal daunorubicin/cytarabine, gemtuzumab ozogamicin, and glasdegib combined with subcutaneous cytarabine [4–13]. This evidence concerns the gene FLT3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
