Considering the total study population, associations were observed between cholestasis severity and BMI (R = -0.2; P = 0.03), bilirubin levels (R = 0.3; P < 0.001) and ALB (R = -0.2; P = 0.004); between ductular proliferation severity and BMI (R = -0.3; P < 0.001) and ALB levels (R = -0.2; P < 0.001); between the severity of steatosis and age (R = 0.2; P = 0.009); and between the severity of portal inflammation and age (R = 0.2; P = 0.005). Here, ALB is linked to cholestasis.
