SCG2 and neoplasm: In the subcutaneous xenograft model, ectopic expression of SCG2 dramatically inhibited the growth of SW620 tumor cells by 73.0% in tumor volume as compared with control cells (293.1 ± 125.6 vs. 1086.4 ± 94.8 mm3, respectively, Fig. 2D,E) and by 72.7% in tumor weight (0.27 ± 0.13 vs. 0.99 ± 0.10 g, respectively, Fig. 2F).
